Adam is a talented multi eventer whose ultimate goal is to become a professional decathlete and represent Great Britain. Adam represented Sussex in 1999 in his first year in Under 13 age group and is expecting to represent the County again in this and subsequent years

| Sporting Experience |
Adam is an excellent all rounder. He is currently ranked number 13 nationally at javelin, and also excels at shotputt, hurdles, sprints, long jump, high jump and triple jump. Adam takes part in competitions all over the country both in leagues for his club and also individually. He has an ever increasing collection of bronze, silver and gold medals and a variety of trophies including the original 1948 Olympia trophy presented by his club for being the best track and field athlete in the Under 13 age group of 1999. Adam takes part in pentathlons and travelled to Exeter last year where he received a silver medal amid some very strong competition. Adam has recently won the U13 Minithon title at Crawley and will be aiming for more gold medals at the U13 County Championships which take place in Kingston on 30 July. Adam has just broken two County Records in the shot putt and the high jump. His personal bests to date are:
Shot putt 11.16m putting him amongst top in country
Javelin 40.91m possibly National No 1 Ranking
High Jump 1.42m
Discus 23.39m
Long Jump 4.47m
During August and September, Adam is hoping to improve his javelin Personal Best to 45m
Adam will also be taking part in two pentathlons in September, one in Crawley and the other in Exeter where he is aiming for gold medals

Adam is regularly mentioned in the local newspapers and in the Athletics Weekly magazine. He has achieved recognition from Steve Backley for his efforts in the javelin, and hopes this year to go on to achieve national rankings in many more events.
